Confidence
I started having problems with Financial Guidance Site so I no longer have it and only have this site. I am more and more confident as time goes by that I am meant to go to Africa. I am continuing to pray and raise the money I will need. I also still have to get accepted into the program which is competative but I am putting my full trust in God.

The Beginning of a Journey
“It is poverty to decide that a child must die so that you may live as you wish.”- Mother Teresa
I was first introduced to the idea of going to Africa my junior year of high school after seeing the movie Invisible Children. At first, I was not very keen on the idea of going to Africa so I decided to just get involved with raising money. The more involved I got with Invisible Children, the more God opened my heart to the idea of going to Africa. I wanted to go to Uganda to help out the victims of the current civil war. After realizing how dangerous Uganda is I decided to look into going to help some place safer in Africa.
Azusa Pacific University first introduced me to the idea of going to South Africa with their study abroad program. I was against the idea in the beginning because I wanted to go on a less commercialized mission experience and I thought of South Africa as a British Resort. After praying and much research I realized how much I can help even in South Africa. South Africa is similar to Mexico because most people think of it as a great tourist destination but is filled with poverty everywhere else.
After much pray, I have decided to go to South Africa with APU's program. It combine mission work within studying. It is a 16 week trip with 12 weeks spent at 3 different universities and 4 weeks working at a specific organization. Because I go to Miami, I do not qualify for any scholarships from APU and Miami only gives scholarships if you go through them and they have no programs in South Africa. I have to raise about $17,000 in 6 months and I know with God's help anything is possible.
To raise the money, I have created different websites with information on certain topics. I make money by YOU visiting my websites and clicking on the ads. I get a certain amount of money per click, ranging from $.50-$6.00. I do not know which ads make the most but all are relevant to the website topic and NONE are questionable websites. If you could set my website as your homepage that would be great because it puts traffic through the website which means I will get more per click.
This blog is not used as a fundraiser but to let you know about my other websites which are being used. I plan to update this a lot to let you know where I am with my fundraising. Thank you so much and remember to press on the ads on my other websites.
My first website is a financial website with tons of information on saving money. The website is www.financialguidancesite.com . It is updated daily with articles so you will not be bored with your home page. As I create more websites I will put them on here.
Again, thank you so much for helping me through this journey.
